NEW BEDFORD — A beer tank exploded at Greasy Luck Brewery Monday afternoon, New Bedford Police said.
At about 11:10 a.m., a 19-year-old male employee suffered a minor injury after the beer tank he was cleaning exploded, NBPD spokesman Lt. Amos Melo said.
As of 2:30 p.m. the restaurant was open for business with two patrons sitting at the bar.
On Feb. 17, electric officials and New Bedford Fire Department were called due to an apparent gas fryer flare up in the kitchen that caused an afternoon evacuation.
The owners of Greasy Luck could not be reached for comment.
