TAUNTON — The Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization is set to vote July 18 on an amendment involving the addition of a project to the FY2017 Transportation Improvement Program for the Padanaram Bridge in South Dartmouth.
The 1 p.m. meeting at SRPEDD, 88 Broadway in Taunton is an open meeting and anyone is welcome to attend, according to SRPEDD officials.
This meeting follows a public meeting July 11 at 4 p.m. at the Taunton office to hear comments and concerns on the amendment for additional funds for the bridge project.
The TIP is a programming document of all federally funded road and bridge projects in the region and transit projects for the Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) and the Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority (GATRA).
