MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Family Resource Center and Middleborough Council on Aging in collaboration with Early Childhood Consultation invites the community and all grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other family members who are raising their grandchildren, nieces and nephews to a Family Support Series. The series begins October 17 and continues with two more meetings in November and December.

All local families, including children, are invited to attend “Purposeful Parenting – A family support series” for families with pre-K to school-age children.

The three interactive workshops include, “Understanding Your Child’s Behavior” on October 17, “Managing Your Child’s Behavior” on November 4 and “Helping Care-Takers Take Care” on December 12. All the workshops are on Tuesday evenings at the Mary K. Goode Elementary School, from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.

A light supper will be provided and children will be well cared for in a separate support group facilitated by counselors. Registration is required by calling 508-946- 2040 , ext. 4319. Leave your name and phone number, and the number of adults and children that will be attending.

This program is made possible through the support and funding of McLean Hospital in Middleboro.
