Following are construction projects happening in New Bedford for the week of Oct. 10-13, according to the city's Department of Public Infrastructure:

Acushnet Avenue and Wamsutta Street railroad Bridge. A contractor will be working on miscellaneous work throughout the project. Eversource will be replacing the gas main on the following locations: Plymouth Street between Brownell Avenue easterly; Snow Street between Brownell Avenue to Allen Street; Brownell Avenue between Allen Street to Hawthorn Street; Ryan Street between Brownell Street to 222 Ryan Street; Cleveland Street between Cove Street to Ruth Street; Hall Street between Rockland Street to Fair Street; Ash Street between Maple Street to E. Clinton Street; Stanton Court. Continuing the installation of the new drain pipe and water main along Union Street between Purchase Street and Sixth Street. Union Street between Sixth Street and Purchase Street will be closed and traffic will be detoured at times during construction. All businesses will remain open and accessible. Working road reconstruction on Route 18 South of Walnut Street to Cove Road; Hemlock Street between Rockdale Avenue to Town Line; Van Buren Street between Myrtle Street to Mt. Pleasant Street; as well as Acushnet Avenue between Madison Street and Russell Street. Working on Coggeshall Street from Purchase to Mitchell Street and on Cove Walk entrance ramps. Excavating and repaving roadway on Bullard Street between Ashley Boulevard and Acushnet Avenue. Working at Dog Park on Greenwood Street and Hathaway Boulevard. Working on Shawmut Avenue from City Pump Station to Nash Road installing force main. Playground installation at Pope’s Island.
