Concerts at the Point will present the third concert of its 2017-2018 season on Sunday with rising star pianist Ieva Jokubaviciute.

Jokubaviciute was praised by the New York Times as an artist of commanding technique, refined temperament and persuasive insight, a press release about the concert stated.

She will present a program of music by Liszt (En Reve, Les Jeux d'eau a la Villa d'este, and Andante lagrimoso from Harmonies Poetiques et Religieuses); Scriabin Second Piano Sonata, and Schumann Fantasie in C Major.

The program will also include a composition by Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir for prepared piano titled Scape.

Concerts are held at the Westport Point United Methodist Church, 1912 Main Road, Westport Point.

The concert begins at 3 p.m., with doors opening at 2:15 p.m. Open seating tickets are $25, Students $10.
