NEW BEDFORD — Two men were arrested early Wednesday and charged with robbing a man at knifepoint on Pleasant Street, police said.
Felix Acosta Cuadrado, 42, of 641 County St., Apartment 4, and Douglas Boice, 44, who is homeless, are both charged with armed robbery, according to a New Bedford Police Department spokeswoman.
An unidentified woman also faces charges for her involvement in the robbery, the spokeswoman said.
The victim told police he was walking in the 600 block of Pleasant Street about 1:43 a.m. when he was approached by two men and a woman, the spokeswoman said.
The two men held the victim down, while the woman approached him with a knife and hit him with the weapon, the spokeswoman said. The three robbed the man and fled. No injuries were reported.
Based on a description, police found Cuadrado and Boice causing a disturbance in the 700 block of Pleasant Street, she said.
