NEW BEDFORD — Narcotics detectives charged two women with running a cocaine distribution service out of their apartments in the city's near North End, police said.

Detectives with the New Bedford Police Department's Organized Crime Intelligence Bureau raided Apartments 1 and 2 at 21 Jean St. Saturday and seized 14.5 grams of crack cocaine, about 10 grams of fentanyl, digital scales, packaging materials and about $759 in cash, according to a police spokeswoman.

They arrested Linda Fisher, 46, of 21 Jean St., Apartment 2, and Delia Wrightington, 41, of 21 Jean St., Apartment 1, and charged them with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws, she said.

Police also arrested Michelle Ryan, 45, of 31 Juniper St., Apartment 3, on a warrant arrest.
