Jordan St. Onge, a 17-year-old senior at Fairhaven High School, will travel to Orlando to represent Massachusetts at the 14th annual Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant.

From July 21 through 28, 51 contestants will do a week of press events, rehearsals and community appearances leading up to the selection of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2019, according to a news release. Jessica Baeder of Alabama will crown her successor on July 28.

St.Onge won the title of Miss Massachusetts’ Outstanding Teen in April at the state competition in New Bedford. A member of the National Honor Society, she is enrolled in all honors and AP classes maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She is also a 3-sport athlete; playing lacrosse, field hockey and basketball. Selected to be a member of the 84% Statewide Leadership Team, she advocates and educates in the fight against the big tobacco companies.

She is the daughter of Michael and Stephanie St. Onge of Acushnet.
