WALPOLE – Volunteers are needed for a couple of hours each month to serve as club leaders for 4-H clubs in Bristol and Norfolk counties.
The role of a 4-H volunteer leader is to provide skills from your own area of expertise while developing a meaningful relationship with youth, ages 5 to 18. Especially needed are volunteers with skills in dog care and obedience, horse care, small animal care such as rabbits and poultry, and general science.
“We need people who have an interest in spending time with young people and who want to learn alongside them,” said Jay Field, 4-H educator for Bristol and Norfolk counties, in a statement.
