Imagine a job that combines equal parts service, support and enforcement. Add humanity and a proud sense of community, and you have our local law enforcement professionals.

No matter where we live, work or study, we are protected by a network of men and women who protect and serve us. Our law enforcement professionals not only prevent criminal activity and apprehend offenders. They are also responsible for proactively protecting our citizens from harm and maintaining public safety. Their training and professionalism enable them to assist us during a wide range of crises, and their daily commitment to a safe community protects us all.

At Saint Anne’s Hospital, we know the value of area law enforcement professionals. We appreciate their ready help to those in crisis and their willingness to reach out to those who can benefit from their wide-ranging expertise. Over this past year, we are especially grateful to area law enforcement who have joined with other community partners to help those with addiction to get needed treatment and to combat the high rate of drug overdoses that are claiming too many lives in our surrounding communities.

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day was Jan. 9. Please join us in thanking our local law enforcement professionals. They will be grateful for your friendly words and appreciate your support of their sacrifices and achievements.
