TAUNTON — In this bizarre and often unbelievable campaign season, Rogue Theatre Co. has come to the rescue with an original evening of comedic sketches and Broadway numbers designed to poke fun and find the humor in both of our current candidates.

Doors open one hour prior to show time for a cash bar and an optional delicious Chinese buffet provided by Hong Kong City Restaurant for only $12 per person. Tickets to Rogue’s “Wicked Politics” are $25 general admission and $23 for Seniors/Students. Seating is cabaret style at tables. Tickets are available at the door by cash or check or in advance online at roguetheatrecompany.com. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling or texting 508-431-3376. The company of talented actors and singers includes Lisa Beausoleil, Victoria Bond, Adam Bond and Matthew Bruffee (all of Middleboro) and Bob Horta (of New Bedford). The production was written and conceived by the Rogue members in the cast and by John Beausoleil (Middleboro) and Brandin Barber (Rhode Island). Stage Management will be provided by Dave Littlefield (Taunton) and Jessica Parzyck (Bridgewater). Production sound and lighting by WW Lighting of Raynham.

Production musical selections are from “The Addams Family”, “Avenue Q”, “Nunsense (Amen!)”, “Wicked”, “Young Frankenstein”, and “Les Miserables”. Sketches will be parodies of popular shows and themes with a political twist. There might even be some magic tricks to leave you stunned. So, leave your party affiliation at the door and prepare to laugh at two candidates that could make you cry.
