MIDDLEBORO — The Oliver Estate Historical Society will be hosting its second annual July 4th open house with free admission to all at the Oliver Estate, located at 445 Plymouth Street, from noon to 4:00pm on Tuesday, July 4 and will be alive with demonstrations of 18th century crafts as well as house tours. At 2:00pm, will have a special dispatch rider will arrive on horseback to present and read the Declaration of Independence
Free parking and shuttle bus for the Oliver Estate will be located at the Oliver Mill Park on Nemasket Street & Route 44 in Middleborough. Please note, pedestrian traffic is strictly prohibited on Route 44. Please park and ride. Only handicap parking is available at the house.
