MIDDLEBORO — The Middleborough Tourism Committee will host its 5th annual Festival of Lights Saturday and Sunday evenings Dec. 8, 9, 15 and 16 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Boston/Cape Cod KOA Campground.
For $5 a car load, visitors can drive through the campground decorated with over 500,000 lights, then stop at the Christmas Village to purchase cocoa and cookies as well as handmade authentic Middleboro Christmas tree ornaments.
Also available: having a professional picture taken with Santa or the Grinch or enjoy strolling through the village while seasonal music plays. Stop by and visit the festive and friendly alpacas. Transportation will be provided to shuttle visitors from the village area to a newly added light display in the highlands section of the campground. Don’t forget to see the cabins in the decorating contest and vote for your favorite cabin. Cash prizes are sponsored by Rockland Trust.
