BRIAN ROSE BASEBALL 12th ANNUAL SUMMER CLINIC SERIES: July 10-14 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m for ages 6-15 at Old Hammondtown School in Mattapoisett run by former Boston Red Sox Pitcher Brian Rose and staff. Five fun-filled, fundamental training days will feature work on all baseball skills, special guest speakers, field day and scrimmages in the afternoon. LUMBER YARD CLINICS: Lumber Yard Sports will be holding softball and baseball clinics this summer open to players 7-15 years old. The clinics will focus on fundamentals of hitting, fielding, baserunning and position skills. There will be one live scrimmage each day. Girls week runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 10-13 with a rain day on Friday. The camp will feature a guest speaker from a Division I softball program. Boys week runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 17-20 with a rain day on Friday. Guest instructors include Fairhaven High baseball coach Rudy Bulgar and New Bedford Bay Sox players. Both clinics will be held at Hastings Middle School in Fairhaven. Cost is $100 per player and includes a T-shirt and pizza party on last day. LADY BEARS SOFTBALL CAMP: The Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech Softball Program will conduct a daily summer softball camp July 10-13 for players between the ages of 9 and 15. Instruction will be provided from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Lady Bears Softball Field located on the Voc-Tech campus. Great opportunity for interested players to improve their softball skill sets working with area collegiate & high school coaches. The camp has strictly limited enrollment to maximize player instruction. 30th ANNUAL N.E. ALL-STAR BASKETBALL CAMP: The camp, which is for boys and girls ages 8-17, will run at UMass Dartmouth for two weeks. The first week, which runs June 26-30, costs $185 (without lunch) or $215 (including lunch). Discount rate for two in the same family is $360 without lunch or $420 with lunch. The second week, which runs July 25-29, costs $195 (without lunch) or $225 (including lunch) with a discounted rate for two in the same family of $380 (no lunch) or $440 (with lunch). NORTHEAST 3V3 SUMMER TOURNAMENT: The inaugural Northeast 3v3 Basketball Federation tournament will be held at the Burgo Basketball Courts in Dartmouth from Aug. 4-6. The tournament is open to boys, girls, adults, AAU , travel, college and professional players. One hundred and fifty teams are expected, featuring 600 players. Cost is $200 a team with three guaranteed games and four players per team. Prizes include custom Adidas James Harden Vol. 1 shoes by Sidekick Illustration's Ethan Weinstein.

DARTMOUTH 7v7 LEAGUE: College Soccer Prep’s 7v7 Summer League is returning to Dartmouth this summer from July 10 to August 10 at the DYSA Fields. Cost is $75 per player and includes a free uniform shirt. Six games are guaranteed, plus playoffs. Games are 50 minutes with USSF-certified referees. Age groups are 13-15, 15-18 and 19-plus. INSTRUCTIONAL CLASSES: The Southeastern Massachusetts Football Officials Association will conduct instructional classes for anyone interested in becoming a high school football official.
