DARTMOUTH — The Whalers (2-4) came from behind early to win their second straight game behind two touchdown passes by Tru Williams and two rushing touchdowns from Latrell Canto. Despite turning the ball over twice and suffering three bad snaps the Whalers cut down on penalties as they build momentum heading into the postseason. Dartmouth fell to 1-5.

LAKEVILLE — Brett Dorsey scored on a 1-yard run with 1:32 left to play to help lead Apponequet (3-3) to a come-from-behind win over Somerset-Berkley (2-3) Friday night. The Lakers, who trailed 19-6 at halftime, got back into the game on a 64-yard touchdown run by Kevin Hughes in the third quarter.

MATTAPOISETT — Jackson Cote dominated the first half with 80 rushing yards on nine carries including a touchdown and six first-down jaunts, and unbeaten Old Rochester (6-0) celebrated Homecoming with big plays on both sides of the ball in a victory over Fairhaven (2-4). Anthony Childs (55 yards) and Tyler Noe (52) opened each half with big TD runs, and Cole McIntyre hit Adam Breault and Noe for TD passes.

NEW BEDFORD — Dighton-Rehoboth (4-2) scored on a punt return as well as on two interceptions in the first half, building up a 34-6 lead by the intermission. The only score for the Bears (1-5) came from quarterback Ethan Almeida, who hit the end zone on a 1-yard run in the second quarter.

WAREHAM — After showing some early promise on defense, Wareham (0-6) was unable to contain the Cardinals (6-0). Rakeen Jackson and Erik Zine showed were solid on both sides of the ball for the Vikings, who were unable to Case's Chris Costa, who ran for two touchdowns. Henry Kones scored Wareham’s lone touchdown on an eight-yard pass from Isaac Pinheiro.
